Andradite Garnet mineral specimen. A very good sample from the Mary Kathleen Uranium mine, 55 Kilometres East of Mount Isa in North Western Queensland.

There is a small area of Pitchblende (Urananite) on the underside, giving a Radioactivity reading. Sample measures 55 x 35 x 33mm and weighs 90 grams.

 There are also several areas of  bright Orange under Short wave Ultraviolet light.

Dravite group, mineral specimen from six Kilometres North West of Mount Isa in North West Queensland. Many hours of work has gone into picking the Mica from this sample with a needle.

Piece looks much better in real life, weighs 354 grams and measures 9.6 x 6 cm with the second group that protrudes measuring 6.1 cm long.
