Hematite in Smoky Quartz with secondary growth and Ilmenite crystals in a terrific crown formation. A superb sparkling mineral specimen that is not showing up in the picture like it does naturally. Sample measures 6.2 x 4.2 x 3.9 cm and weighs 106 grams. The secondary growth appears in some crystal faces as Skeletal Quartz. It is from The Lost Flat near Mount Isa in North West Queensland.

Hematite as Botryoidal growths in Quartz under a second growth layer with a coating of Siderite causing the Red appearance.
The areas between crystals are filled with a Blue crystal, possibly Melanterite. Have tried to show a example in the FOV picture below.
Mineral specimen is from Lost Flat, Rosebud Station near Mount Isa, North West Queensland. Plate measures 5.6 x 3.9 x 1 cm and weighs 22 grams.
