The name Mookaite is a local name for a material identical in formation to this one from Western Australia.

Agatised Mudstone with Hyolithid Belemnites suitable for cutting and polishing from Beetle Creek formation just West of Mount Isa in North West Queensland.
Material is Grey or Brown. Largest piece is 6 cm long and the bag weighs 708 grams. Polished items not included.

White common Opal with Red Fire Opal inclussions. There are numerous small pits throughout the cut surface but it still cuts beautiful stones.
Piece is from Mount Isa, Queensland. Measures 155 x 120 x 57 mm and weighs 1.06 Kg. A good Knapping stone.

Silicified Serpentine. Is as hard and polishes as good as any Chalcedony. This is being tested for Jadeite. It is from Rosebud Station 50 Kilometres East of Mount Isa in North West Queensland.
